Volunteer with Involve
At Involve, we believe everyone has something to offer, whether you can volunteer a few hours a week or just a few minutes a month. Our volunteering opportunities are a great way to meet new people, connect to your community, develop your skills and feel a sense of achievement.
1. Ongoing volunteering roles: Regular roles with an ongoing commitment that fit around you – like becoming a Volunteer Community Driver
2. Ad-hoc volunteering: Short, one-off volunteering activities. Perfect if you want to make a difference but only have limited free time.
Ad-hoc volunteering is ideal if you don’t want to commit to a long-term volunteering role but still want to make a difference.
This role involves helping us spread the word about our services by delivering leaflets to local community locations such as libraries, cafes, community centres, GP surgeries and local shops. This role would be great for someone who wants to play an important part in helping local residents discover the support available to them.
You will organise local events to help raise money for Involve, such as bake sales, raffles, or quiz nights. You might also support public collections or promote campaigns online. These core tasks blend communication, creativity, and community engagement, allowing volunteers to play a direct role in generating support while strengthening the charity’s presence in the local area.
We want volunteering at Involve to fit your life. Here’s how to get started:
1. Fill out our Volunteer Interest Form – Let us know what role you are interested in.
2. We’ll be in touch – Our Volunteer Coordinator will follow up with specific tasks or roles that suit your preferences.
3. Complete a brief induction – Depending on the role, you may need a quick training session, especially if you’ll be working directly with vulnerable people.
Your time – whether it’s one hour a week or one hour a month – can help us continue to transform lives. Together, we can make Kent a healthier, happier place for everyone.
