How we can help
Involve are a charity providing community services and activities for people of all ages across Kent, improving health and wellbeing. We work closely with the NHS and local councils to help people overcome challenges, stay independent and lead happier, healthier lives.
We offer a wide range of activities such as social meetups, exercise classes, heritage trips, art, singing and gardening groups, enabling people to make friends and have fun.
We also help people access the services and support they need, such as housing, healthcare, social care, education, and benefits.
How can Involve help you?
Involve can help you access information, advice, guidance, and practical support. This may include benefits, housing, assistive technology, and information about local services.
We do this in the best way for you – by phone, email, video call, visit in the community, or a home visit.
We focus on ‘what matters to you’, helping you to achieve your goals in the way you want, building support around you and making the most of the thousands of groups and services in Kent.
We will focus on you as a whole person – not just the issue or problem you are worried about.
We link you to local community services to address your needs, making referrals and assisting with form filling when required.
If you look after or care for someone, you can access dedicated support to help you keep caring, making sure you feel confident about where to turn if needed.
If you’re feeling lonely or isolated, we can connect you to groups or activities based on your interests, your community, or others in similar circumstances.
We support people of all ages, regardless of their needs or personal circumstances. If your health, mobility or situation makes things difficult for you, we can help. Our support is always tailored to you, ensuring we work at your pace and in the way that suits you best.
If we don’t do it, we will know someone who can, and can refer or signpost you to the right service.
Our Impact
We improve health, empowering people and communities to live well and tackling the root causes of ill health including isolation, loneliness, disadvantage and frailty.
