At Involve Kent, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to help us improve health, connect people, and change lives in our community. As a registered charity and responsible fundraiser, we promise that our fundraising is always legal, open, honest, and respectful.

1. We commit to high standards

• We follow the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice.
• We ensure that all staff, volunteers, and third parties who work with us uphold these standards.
• We comply with all relevant laws that apply to charities and fundraising.

2. We are clear, honest, and open

• We set out our Fundraising Rules.
• We tell the truth and do not exaggerate.
• We explain how donations are used and will honour your gifts as promised.
• We are transparent about who we are and what we do.
• We make it simple to donate, change a regular donation, or opt out of future communications.
• We make our complaints process clear and accessible and provide reasons for any decisions made.

3. We are respectful

• We respect your rights and privacy at all times.
• We never put undue pressure on anyone to donate. If you want to stop or reduce your giving, we will respect that.
• We maintain a procedure for responding to people in vulnerable circumstances.
• We honour your contact preferences and use your personal data responsibly.

4. We are fair and reasonable

• We treat everyone fairly and adapt our approach to meet diverse needs.
• We avoid using any language or images that might cause undue distress or anxiety.
• We strive not to cause public nuisance or disruption in our fundraising efforts.

5. We are accountable and responsible

• We manage our resources and funds carefully to support our charitable objectives.
• We listen to feedback—positive or negative—and act on it promptly. If we make a mistake, we will apologise and do our best to make it right.
• If you are dissatisfied with our response to a complaint, we will let you know how to contact the Fundraising Regulator.
• We record and monitor any complaints received and are willing to share this data with the Fundraising Regulator on request.
