What we do
Medway Voluntary Action (MVA) is a long‑established charity with over 35 years of experience supporting Medway’s Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise and Faith (VCSEF) sector.
MVA provides free guidance, resources, training, and capacity‑building support to help community groups deliver safe, sustainable, and impactful services. Through initiatives such as the Medway Volunteer Network, MVA connects people with volunteering opportunities and helps organisations develop effective volunteer programmes.
Driven by a mission to reduce inequality, build community leadership, and champion collaboration, MVA works to ensure that local voices are heard and that Medway’s diverse communities have the tools and support they need to thrive. Its strategic vision focuses on creating empowered, inclusive, and resilient communities for current and future generations.
