What we do

We offer a fantastic selection of books for all abilities, interests and ages – free to borrow, (fees may apply for late returns), audiobooks in a range of formats, including e-audiobooks and CDs, free wi-fi and library computers, with access to printing, free access to e-Books, e-Magazines and e-Newspapers through our website or via apps and many other free online resources for study and information, 24-hour help with questions, research or homework.

Contact Ask a Kent Librarian on AKL@kent.gov.uk or call 03000 41 64 38.

Our libraries are host to a wide range of activities and events for all – opportunities to meet new people and volunteering opportunities across the county – give something back to the community.

We also provide a library card for people with disabilities and mental health problems to make it easier to use library services.
