Blackthorn Trust

Blackthorn Trust is a charity which offers specialist therapies and social rehabilitation through work placements in the Blackthorn Garden. We offer help to people with mental or physical health difficulties. Using an Anthroposophical approach we offer specialist individual and group therapies and opportunities to work in our beautiful garden, café, bakery, craft and stained glass studio and wood workshop. These activities provide relief and rehabilitation, and for some, builds self esteem and confidence enabling them to make friends, learn new skills and develop interests. We work to support individuals to manage their conditions, learn how to eat healthily and develop skills for work, so that when their time with us has finished they are able to support themselves physically and financially.
