What we do
At the heart of our work of the Athena Herd Foundation CIC (“Athena”) is a space that is focussed on the wellbeing the horses and animals that live there, as well as its founders and their family, and those that visit the site.
Athena specialises in Equine Facilitated Interactions that are delivered for local vulnerable groups.
Athena is also a leading international provider of facilitator training through its programme of externally accredited courses.
Athena also holds First and currently only UK National Accredited Practitioner Register in the field of animal and nature based activities that is regulated in the UK by the Professional Standards Authority, as well as being organisational members of ACCPH and BACP.
These registrations and memberships assure our clients of the underlying standards and quality of the services that we provide.
