What we do
Dandelion Time supports children with very challenging emotional issues, often resulting from trauma, violence, abuse, or serious health difficulties in the family. Our approach is family based and creates opportunities for new beginnings and improved relationships. The service recognises the importance of being in a peaceful natural environment, absorbing children and families in calming hands-on activities. This service is available from Mondays to Thursdays. Referrals must be made by a professional who knows the child and family (e.g. GP or other Health professional, Early Help Worker, Social Worker, school SENCO or FLO). Dandelion Time’s approach is best suited to children aged 6-13 years.
