What we do
There are no formal lessons. Members are given assistance based on their individual needs. The Boom pool is for less confident/abled persons, the lane pool is for confident swimmers and the Aqua pool is for aerobic exercises. There is a hoist in both pool areas to assist those with physical disabilities to enter and exit the pool. For those who can swim unaided, the fitness pool is available to them to swim at their own leisure in an uncrowded environment. However, we have qualified teachers for those who wish to develop water skills or simply benefit from the freedom of moving in water. The Swimming and Exercise group runs on Tuesday from 12:00 pm to 13:00 pm. After the first FREE session, the classes cost £2 plus a £10 yearly membership.
