What we do

This is a drop in group for pregnant women, new parents, family and friends to come along and find out more about the benefits of using a sling, carrier or cloth nappies with their baby or toddler. Trained volunteers will work with you to find the best carrier for your family and teach you to use it safely. Slings can be a great parenting tool and can help with calming, bonding and sleeping all while having your hands free. Cloth nappies can help families save money and reduce household waste. These groups are free to attend. We bring a large number of different slings to each event for you to try out, or we can help you with your own sling or carrier. We can talk through the different types of cloth nappies and how to use them. You also have the opportunity to take them home for a small fee each month so that you can have a real test drive. Families receiving Healthy Start vouchers pay no fees. 3rd Sunday of the month 9:30am-1:30pm.
