What we do
An Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) is a specially trained professional who provides a non-discriminatory, impartial service to individuals of recent and non-recent rape and sexual assault from the age of 3 years upwards. An ISVA is here to offer you emotional support and practical guidance through what we know is a very overwhelming and emotive time. If you want to report the incident to the police, your ISVA will provide you with impartial information about how to do this, so you can make an informed decision about what is the best step for you to take.
