What we do
The Chatty Café Scheme provides a telephone friendship service which aims to alleviate loneliness and/or social isolation, by creating the opportunity for conversation and human interaction. We have a wonderful group of volunteers who enjoy having a chat over the phone. We match a volunteer with a client who they phone each week for up to 30 minutes. The service lasts for 12 weeks.
The time and date of the weekly call is agreed after the client has been referred to us as it is based on the availability of the client and volunteer. Call Involve 03000 810005
