What we do
When decisions are being made about our health and social welfare, it can be hard if we don’t feel listened to. Advocacy is where we support individuals to be heard and to make sure that your thoughts, wishes and feelings are communicated to the services and organisations that support you. Disability Assist’s advocates take time to understand the situation, explore the options and help you decide what you want to do and how you want to do it.
