What we do
Marden Sporting Memories is a group where older adults meet to talk and reminisce about past sporting occasions; and catch up on the weekly sports events, whether that’s local sports, national or on the international circuit.
The group occasionally have visitors who share their ‘Sporting memories’ from the world of rowing, golf, hockey umpires, football referees and a spitfire pilot to name a few.
Each week there are ‘half-time’ refreshments, then the club members enjoy a variety of physical activities; all very light hearted – lots of laughing and reminiscing.
This group meets weekly on a Tuesday afternoon
