What we do
Age UK Hythe, Lyminge, and Ashford’s Day Care service provides older adults with a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment to spend their day.
Designed to support even the most frail or vulnerable individuals, the service fosters social interaction with like-minded peers, helping to build confidence while offering much-needed respite for carers and families.
Each day includes a variety of morning and afternoon activities, such as seated exercise, new-age curling, art, and singing, along with a freshly prepared two-course lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
For those who prefer a quieter experience, there’s the option to relax in the café or other hub spaces instead of joining the main activities. Our team of staff and volunteers are on hand to ensure you have the best experience possible.
The day service is available on Monday to Fridays from 10am until 2:30pm.
