What we do
Age UK Hythe, Lyminge, and Ashford offers a free, confidential, and impartial Information and Advice service for people aged 55 and over, as well as their families and carers.
Our trained and experienced officers provide guidance on maximising income through benefit checks, assistance with form filling, such as Blue Badge applications or Attendance Allowance, and advice on care and support options to help adapt to changes in health or circumstances.
This service is available Monday to Friday between 9:30am and 3:30pm.
We also offer free information guides and leaflets, which can be accessed in person or downloaded from the Age UK website.
While we cannot provide legal, financial, tax, or debt advice, or assist with Power of Attorney or will writing, we can connect you with an appropriate organisation who can.
