What we do
Songsters is a fun and rewarding inclusive music, dementia and wellbeing singing group, for people living with a dementia, people in caregiving roles and Health & Social Care professionals.
Delivered by Musical Walkabout CIC, we are committed to improving the provision of creative care, supporting participants to gain confidence and enjoy themselves, and leverage the power of music to support wellbeing in our communities impacted by dementia.
We are a welcoming group, and no musical experience is necessary to take part.
We encourage PLWD and Caregivers to attend together where possible, for maximum benefits, and promote an ethos of daily music engagement.
1hr sessions are joyous social experiences, widely enjoyed by everyone involved.
We have a series of 20 sessions between Aug 2024 – March 2025.
