If you need to talk to someone about Dementia, we’re here to support you.
Heart of Kent Hospice is a part of a new Dementia Helpline service across Kent in partnership with Age UK Herne Bay & Whitstable. 0800 500 3014
The Dementia & Me helpline is a free service to help offer support and advice for people living with dementia and their family or carers. Heart of Kent Hospice will answer calls to the helpline from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday whilst calls out of hours will be answered by Mental Health Matters.
The helpline service will:
- Provide emotional support and advice.
- Offer an immediate point of contact in a crisis.
- Refer to Dementia & Me Co-ordinators.
- Refer to Dementia & Me Post-Diagnostic Services.
- Signpost to other services and organisations that can assist with dementia support.
