What we do
The repair cafe aims to provide a place where people can bring items that no longer work or need repairing where they can be repaired.
The overall goal is to prolong the life of existing items that might otherwise have been thrown away. The net effect of this is to reduce the need to buy new items, reduce landfill and reduce the subsequent carbon impact on the environment.
Secondly the cafe is a lovely social environment that allows those with skills to help others.
