What we do
Woodwork for Wellbeing (affiliated to Kent Sheds) on Saturday 9am -12pm, Saturday 12.30am-3.30pm and Thursday 9am-12pm
Spadework’s five-acre site is a peaceful and joyful space in which adults with any level of woodworking experience can spend time in a small friendly group.
At Spadework we know the benefits of meaningful occupation and acquiring new skills and want to make this available to others and recognise there are these additional benefits:
• Better physical health through exercise and learning how to use or strengthen muscles to improve mobility
• Improved mental health through a sense of purpose and achievement
• The opportunity to connect with others – reducing feelings of isolation or exclusion
