What we do
The Touch Base Project is a crisis alternatives service for independent adults with a diagnosis of, or awaiting assessment for Autism or Asperger’s, living in Kent and Medway.
Self-advocacy support is provided for 6 weeks through 1:1 sessions with an advocate either face-to-face in the community or remotely (via Zoom or telephone). Support is tailored to the needs of the individual and can include signposting, peer support groups, information/access to resources, and support accessing community interest groups and societies. This is not a direct form of representational advocacy.
